It’s nearly time for Bike Month! Rather than re-invent the wheel (heh, heh) I’m sharing some of Bike Walk Nebraska‘s information. Read below for what the League of American Bicyclist‘s has put together to help us get cranking.
Also, the Prairie to Prairie Run-Bike-Run 2024 event to raise funds for the Prairie Corridor trail on the Haines Branch is coming up May 19th. From the event information: “The event consists of three legs – a 5k run at Pioneers Park Nature Center, a 15-mile gravel bike ride to Spring Creek Prairie, and a second 5k run at Spring Creek Prairie. Individuals can tackle all three legs, or each can be completed by a member of a 2- or 3-person team. Cycling participants must be 14 or over and those under 18 must have parental permission.”
And be sure to have BicycLincoln’s Open house and Visioning session on your calendar April 23 at Gere Library from 6:00 to 8:00.
Also in April:
Need some help getting rolling? Also coming up is an event with the Lincoln Bike Kitchen.
