It’s time to recognize the National Bike Challenge leaders for July and August! Why both July and August? Well… due to some technical difficulties with the reporting feature we were not able to pull July’s totals until a couple a days ago, and we felt it would be unfair not to notice our July leaders. So, we’ll just double up with this month.
First things first, we want to recognize all of you in Lincoln that have logged any rides throughout the challenge. As of this morning, Lincoln is still holding strong in that #1 spot and is leading Madison, WI by over 95,000 points! With just 23 days left in the challenge, we feel that we’re in good shape to hold on to the lead, as long as all of you do not let up and keep riding and logging!
And now, let’s recognize our points leaders for July and August!

Looks like there are a few new names in there sprinkled amongst the regulars in the top 5. Awesome job, everyone! Those are some great numbers you keep putting up in one month of riding!
Next up, we have all of our dedicated everyday loggers from July and August! These folks may not be putting up the most miles, but they were dedicated to logging at least one mile each day for a whole month! They definitely deserve a virtual high five and some recognition!

Way to go, all of you! We all know the difference maker in the challenge is getting those 21 points you get for that first mile each day!
Next month, we’ll pull the numbers for the entire challenge and recognize the overall leaders and the determined every day of the challenge loggers. Also, keep an eye out for details regarding the End of Challenge Party, tentatively planned for Friday, October 7th at Ploughshare Brewing Co. More details will be coming soon!
